Take advantage of early registration and secure your place at the 47th Marathon Around Pohorje Hill.
The longest route is for real endurance pros. It takes you on a challenging tour around Pohorje,
which includes both long, flat sections and some sweet climbs. Let the tailwind carry you in the
Drava Valley and enjoy the view. 4 PROTEINI.SI refreshment stations along the route will provide the
necessary energy.
Longest of the rest. It is suitable for well-trained cyclists. Despite two climbs, you
could almost call it a sprint stage. There are 3 PROTEINI.SI refreshment stations available.
Perfect for anyone who preferred to spend spring on the sofa and whose racing bike has been
gathering dust for months. The route is mostly flat and has only one climb, which even less trained
riders can master with some effort. Once you get to the top, one of two PROTEINI.SI refreshment stations awaits you.
The Okoli Pohorja Marathon is a traditional cycling event organized annually by the Branik Maribor Cycling Club. It is the oldest recreational cycling marathon in Slovenia and attracts numerous participants of all ages and fitness levels.
With route lengths ranging from 50 to 150 kilometers, the marathon offers something for everyone.
It is not about competition, but rather about the joy of cycling, a healthy lifestyle and the shared experience. The route leads through the beautiful landscape around Pohorje and the Drava Valley.
The start and finish is in Maribor. As a thank you, all participants receive a gift, a medal and a warm meal. With its long tradition and positive atmosphere, Marathon Around Pohorje is an integral part of the regional cycling scene.

As part of the 47th cycling marathon Okoli Pohorja, the Branik Maribor cycling club is supporting a special project:
For each registration, 1 € will be donated to the Association of Friends of Youth Maribor to enable children from socially disadvantaged families to have a holiday by the sea.
You have the opportunity to increase this amount by another 5 € when you register on prijavim.se.
All donations will be used exclusively for children’s holidays.
With this action, you not only enjoy cycling and nature, but also contribute to an important charitable action that brings happiness and opportunities to those who need them most.
